Conkie and Leema

Well Connor had his operation and we stayed over night in hospital. He did really well, when I saw him in recovery he was clearly in a lot of pain and very agitated. I was beside myself because there was nothing I could do to help him! You can't imagine my relief when they started giving him pethidine - he had 6 hits before he was comfortable!! It's an interesting concept being a mother and feeling good about your child getting drugs! One of my biggest issues was that I did not want him to be in pain after the operation!

We are waiting to get an appointment at the cardiac clinic for Olivia. They only have 3 clinics a year, so we are hoping for an appointment in November!
