Back home now and if I had to give this holiday a score out of 10 it would definitely be a 9!
I look at some of the pictures and some don't even look real - it's a bit like, WOW, did we actually get to see those beautiful things? We had an amazing time and I think it was a mixture of the things we saw (and did) and the people we shared it with. I can't tell you how exciting it was, for the kids and adults, to catch up with each other and talk about what you had seen and compare experiences. Also doing things together and sharing adventures was a lot of fun.
It's always challenging traveling with other people, different ideas etc. I think we had a good balance of time together and time apart - as my friend Nicky puts it,"we're all on the same page" so not much of a surprise that we travelled well together.
I love America, although with the exception of the pancakes, their food is crap! This was our 4th time and to be honest I would go back - thinking a work related trip for the business perhaps!
The next holiday is already in the planning (NO not USA :-)

I know, we could come up there during winter of course, and we could go to that big Park up there. Forget its name. Kim + Leigh + no heat= FUN
